Halberton Court Farm Shop

A visit to Halberton Court Farm Shop is a great way to make the most of the seasons in Mid Devon. Their popular Pick Your Own fields offer strawberries and raspberries throughout the summer, while autumn brings pumpkin picking that’s become a favourite with local families. Once you’ve filled your basket, take time to explore the farm shop, stocked with fresh home-grown produce, local goods and home-reared beef, or extend you day by completing the Swan’s Neck loop and stop by the Café for a coffee and a bite to eat. It’s an easy, enjoyable day out that combines fresh air, local food and a true taste of Devon countryside life.

Thornes Farm Shop

Another great place to experience pick your own fruit in Devon is Thorne’s Farm Shop & Café, set in the beautiful countryside near Crediton. During the summer months, visitors can wander through the PYO fields and pick their own strawberries and raspberries, making it a fun and memorable day out for families, couples and food lovers alike. Quoit at Cross

Established in 2019 and set among the rolling hills of Mid Devon, Quoit at Cross Vineyard is home to 2,200 vines and produces award-winning sparkling and still wines. Visitors can enjoy a 90-minute guided tour through the vineyard, learning about the year-round work involved in growing grapes and producing wine in the Devon countryside while taking in sweeping views across the Exe Valley. Nestled in the rolling hills of Mid Devon, Wellhayes Vineyard is an award-winning family-run vineyard producing exceptional sparkling wines from grapes grown and made entirely on site.
