Diggerland Devon reveals refurbished Dodgems for 2026 (Cullompton)

Planning a family day out in Mid Devon? Diggerland Devon has completed a full refurbishment of its popular Dodgems attraction, ready for the 2026 season. The upgraded arena keeps the classic bumper-car fun families love—now with a fresher, brighter look inspired by visitor feedback.

What’s new for 2026 at Diggerland Devon?

Diggerland is a construction-themed attraction—where visitors can ride and (safely) operate real diggers and machinery. Alongside the digger-powered thrills, the park also offers classic family favourites like the Dodgems, helping make it a fun, full-day attraction for families, schools and groups.

The Dodgems arena has been part of the Devon park since 2004. After reviewing guest comments from the 2025 season, Diggerland’s team made the Dodgems a key priority for improvement. Over the winter, the attraction was modernised to create an updated arena feel—while keeping the nostalgic bumper-car charm that regular visitors will recognise.

More rides and drives to enjoy

As well as the refreshed Dodgems, Diggerland Devon offers around 20 rides and drives based on real construction machinery. Visitors can operate full-size diggers and dumper trucks, or head for high-energy favourites like Spindizzy and the elevated Skyshuttle for views across the park.
