This September marks the start of British Food Fortnight — the national celebration of the diverse and delicious food produced across the UK. Now in its 24th year, it’s all about celebrating local produce, supporting farmers and food makers, and discovering new tastes. Here in Mid Devon, we’re lucky to have everything from farm shops and markets to award-winning cider orchards, vineyards and cheesemakers. If you’re looking for ways to join the celebration, here are some of the best places in Mid Devon to enjoy British food at its very best. British Food Fortnight 2025 takes place 26th September to 12th October 2025.
