Business Listings

Tourism and leisure businesses located within Mid Devon or the surrounding area can advertise on the Visit Mid Devon website through a business listing.

Each listing includes:

  • Business name
  • One high-quality landscape image
  • Promotional description (up to 150 words)
  • Price and entry information
  • Business address with a map pin on our visitor maps
  • Opening hours
  • Website link
  • Contact details
  • Awards or accolades (if applicable)
  • Facility tags
  • Category selections relevant to your business

All submissions are reviewed by the Visit Mid Devon team before approval.

Listings will not be approved if they:

Visit Mid Devon reserves the right to edit submissions to ensure consistency with website formatting.

You will receive email confirmation once your listing is approved.

General Guidance

  • Listings are valid for 12 months. Currently Mid Devon listings are free, subsidised by MDDC. 
  • Free listings may be offered at the discretion of the Visit Mid Devon team, typically for attractions that do not charge admission or service fees.
  • Promotional content such as social media posts or eNewsletter features can be arranged. Please share updates with the team at econdev@middevon.gov.uk

Events

Visit Mid Devon members can list unlimited events on the website for free.

Non-members hosting events in Mid Devon can list up to 12 events per year free of charge.

All events must:

  • Comply with the website’s Terms of Use
  • Be relevant to visitors
  • Focus on leisure or tourism activities
  • Be attractive to people beyond the immediate local community
